Manufacturer
Pneumatic Actuator Manufacturer
Factory-direct quarter-turn pneumatic actuators from a Wenzhou plant: rack and pinion, scotch yoke and spring return lines with ISO 5211 and NAMUR interfaces, torque coverage from 8 Nm to 200,000 Nm, and OEM/ODM support for distributors, integrators and valve brands.
Why Buy Direct
What a Manufacturer Can Offer That a Trader Cannot
The three points below cover the practical reasons buyers move from trading-company supply to direct factory purchasing: price structure, product coverage and engineering flexibility. Each one maps to a question that comes up in nearly every RFQ from a valve distributor or automation integrator.
Factory-Direct Supply Chain
PNEUMACTUATOR operates its own production facility in Wenzhou, where machining, hard anodizing, assembly and testing happen under one roof. Buying directly removes trading-company margins from the price, and it shortens the feedback loop: when a customer reports an issue or requests a change, the people who design and build the unit are the ones who answer. Standard models ship in 7–15 days, and engineering review of a custom specification typically starts within one working day of receiving the inquiry.
Three Product Lines, One Supplier
Instead of managing several vendors for different valve sizes, a distributor can source the full torque spread from a single factory. The AT rack and pinion series covers 8–4,000+ Nm for valves from DN15 to DN300; the AW scotch yoke series extends coverage to 200,000+ Nm for large-bore valves up to DN1200; and the SR spring return series provides fail-safe FC/FO operation for safety loops. All three lines share ISO 5211 mounting and NAMUR accessory pads, so a common accessory stock works across the range.
OEM & ODM Engineering
Private label and full ODM work are part of the daily routine, not a special project. The engineering team adjusts spring sets and pre-load to match a specific valve torque curve, sets travel stops for stroke angles other than 90°, changes body coatings for coastal or chemical service, and adapts mounting interfaces to non-standard valve patterns. Customers receive drawings for approval before tooling or batch production starts, and samples are built and tested against the agreed specification before volume runs.
Product Lines
Full Pneumatic Actuator Range
All series are available as double acting or spring return configurations, in standard and ATEX-specified versions. Supply pressure range is 2–8 bar and the standard operating temperature band is −20°C to +80°C, with extended temperature options for special service.
| Series | Mechanism | Output Torque | Typical Valve Sizes | Configurations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AT Series | Rack & pinion, twin piston | 8 – 4,000+ Nm | DN15 – DN300 | Double acting / spring return |
| AW Series | Scotch yoke, single or double slide | 100 – 200,000+ Nm | DN200 – DN1200 | Double acting / spring return |
| SR Series | Rack & pinion with spring cartridge | 8 – 1,000+ Nm (air stroke) | DN15 – DN200 | Spring-to-close / spring-to-open |
* Torque figures are reference values at 5.5 bar supply pressure. Final sizing depends on valve torque requirement, pressure class and application safety margin. Contact sales@pneumactuator.com for a sizing recommendation.
Quality & Testing
Every Unit Is Tested Before It Ships
Quality control in an actuator factory is about torque, leakage and endurance, because those three failures stop valves in the field. Each assembled unit is torque-tested on a calibrated rig to confirm that output matches the datasheet curve at the customer's operating pressure, and every actuator is leak-tested with the air supply connected so that piston seals and port threads are verified before packing.
Beyond per-unit checks, representative samples from each production batch go through endurance cycling to 1,000,000 cycles, which is the design life target stated on the AT series datasheet. Dimensional inspection on ISO 5211 mounting faces and NAMUR pads is done with calibrated gauges, and material certificates are available for castings and fasteners. Per-lot QC reports are compiled for every shipment and shared with the buyer on request, so the inspection evidence travels with the goods instead of being described in an email.
Test records are kept by serial number, so when a customer calls with a field issue the production history — torque curve, leak results, batch endurance data — can be pulled up the same day. For distributors who re-sell under their own label, that traceability chain is often what lets them answer their own customers' questions without waiting on the factory, and it carries through to warranty claims with documented evidence rather than photographs of a failed unit.
Test Points Per Unit
- ✓Torque output verification on calibrated rig, full stroke both directions
- ✓Air leak test at rated supply pressure, 2–8 bar depending on model
- ✓Full-stroke cycle check for smooth travel and travel stop function
- ✓Dimensional inspection of ISO 5211 and NAMUR interfaces
- ✓Endurance cycling to 1,000,000 cycles on batch samples
- ✓Hard-anodized body and coating checks for corrosion resistance
Applications
Industries We Supply
Pneumatic actuators automate quarter-turn valves wherever compressed air is available and remote or automatic operation is required. The same AT, AW and SR lines serve OEM valve manufacturers, EPC contractors and plant maintenance teams across these sectors.
FAQ
Pneumatic Actuator Manufacturer — FAQ
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. Machining, anodizing, assembly and testing are done in our Wenzhou facility, and we welcome factory visits. For remote buyers, we can arrange a live video walkthrough of the production line and the torque-testing station so you can verify the operation before placing an order.
Which standards do your actuators follow?
All lines are built to ISO 5211 for valve mounting and NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 for accessory mounting, so standard ball, butterfly and plug valves and standard solenoid/limit-switch stacks fit without adapters. ATEX-specified versions are available for hazardous areas, and documentation is supplied with each unit.
What torque range do you cover?
The rack and pinion line starts at 8 Nm and the scotch yoke line extends to 200,000+ Nm, which covers quarter-turn valves from DN15 up to DN1200 depending on pressure class. Send us your valve model or torque figure and we will size the actuator with a safety margin for your application.
What are the MOQ and lead time for OEM orders?
Standard models have no strict MOQ and typically ship in 7–15 days. OEM orders with custom branding or modified spring sets usually start around 50–100 units per model after sample approval. ODM projects follow a drawing-review, sample, then batch-production sequence, with the timeline agreed in writing before tooling starts.
